The RENZ ERW wire binding machine is a powerful 3:1 pitch wire binder that has a high-efficiency electric punch with a fan-cooled motor for use in large offices and other high-output binding environments. The ERW is capable of punching up to 25 sheets per punch and binding books up to 9/16″ thick, and comes equipped with an adjustable punching depth and side margin along with 38 fully-disengageable dies. As with all electric binders, you may need to change the fuse from time to time over the lifetime of the machine. Below is a step-by-step guide for changing the fuse on the RENZ ERW wire binder:
- Unplug the machine from the wall outlet.
- Gently pry the fuse holder out of the machine using a screwdriver.
- Check the fuse for obvious signs of defect.
- If the fuse needs to be replaced, remove the blown fuse from the fuse holder and replace it with a new one.
- Load the fuse holder back into the machine.
- Plug the machine into a wall outlet and resume binding.
